Grace Callahan (she/her)
founder & teacher
Hey, I’m Grace! Just like they said in the ABBA song Thank You For the Music, “I began to sing long before I could talk.” I have not only always loved to sing - I’ve also been deeply fascinated by it. That love & fascination led me to early training in classical music, followed by jazz, and then most notably by musical theatre, resulting in my BFA Musical Theatre degree from Millikin University (class of 2023.) Though my first love is performing, I found an interest in teaching voice in 2021 when I became an instructor at Ovation School of Musical Theatre in Bradenton, FL. It felt only natural to officially open my own studio in the summer of 2022, and since then I’ve provided affordable, virtual lessons that focus on the singer’s vocal & personal growth. Confidence is key in this studio, and whether you choose to take lessons with Jess or myself, I know you’ll find what you’re looking for. As for me, I’m living it up in NYC pursuing my career as an actor - see what I’m up to below!

Jess Harms (she/her)
teacher
Hi, I’m Jess! My singing journey began in Southern California at a very early age where I sang in various choirs and performance groups and decided at age 12 that I was ready to take the next step and pursue private voice lessons. My love for the stage bloomed and I began to take Musical Theatre more seriously as I continued both voice training and theatre through High School. I then went on to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre performance from Abilene Christian University in Texas. I now live in Manhattan and am pursuing a professional career in theatre. When not auditioning you can find me waiting tables at a jazz club, walking through riverside park or reading. I am so beyond excited and honored to be part of GCVS and I cannot wait to work with you on your own journeys!

Gabriella Cruz (she/her)
social media manager
Hi, I'm Gabriella! I am a high school graduate with a passion for people, performance, and art. I've been an avid consumer of the arts since before I can remember, but I realized how important they were to me when I moved from New York to Florida and joined Ovation School of Musical Theatre. There, I attended classes for singing, musical theater, acting, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, and tap. My time on stage, behind the scenes, and as an audience member myself has emphasized the importance of teamwork and networking to me. Connecting people is key, and understanding your audience can be just as important as hitting that high note. In high school, I took courses on social media to better understand how to bring people together through art. I'm excited to continue learning - I already have more marketing and social media courses lined up so that I can better serve this amazing community. As social media manager I aim to not only advertise and inform, but to inspire.
